A powerfully built defender from Bute-Paskville and Woodville-West Torrens, Lachie Jones was drafted at pick 16 in 2020. He won the Gavin Wanganeen Medal as the club's best young player in 2022, the same season he earned a Rising Star nomination, and can match up on talls or smalls. He has played 94 AFL games and kicked 9 goals.
