About Matt Leray
Hawthorn called LeRay's name with the 56th pick of the 2025 national draft, adding a powerfully built 193cm winger who racked up big possession numbers for SANFL club Central District. A genuine all-round sportsman, he has also bowled leg spin for South Australia at cricket's under-17 national championships. He is yet to play a senior AFL game.
