Weddle played 50 consecutive matches from his 2023 debut before bone stress in his back sidelined him for 8 games in 2025; he returned in the elimination final against GWS, splitting time between defence and the wing. Pick 18 in the 2022 national draft, he was the club's Most Promising Player in his debut year. He has played 81 AFL games and kicked 29 goals.
