About Xavier O'Halloran

O'Halloran captained Vic Metro as a teenager before Greater Western Sydney drafted him at pick 22 in 2018, and he debuted in round 10 of 2020. He played 23 matches in 2025, his heaviest workload yet, largely as an inside midfielder and high half-forward. His late grandfather Ron McCarthy played for Footscray and was part of their 1954 premiership side. He has played 104 AFL games and kicked 38 goals.
