About Nic Martin

Martin was runner-up in Essendon's Crichton Medal in 2024 and won the club's Lindsay Griffiths Rising Star award in 2022, the year he was nominated for the AFL Rising Star in round 1. An ACL injury sustained during rehabilitation ruled him out for the whole of 2026, a season he spends as a member of the Bombers' leadership group supporting the playing group off-field. He has played 83 AFL games and kicked 62 goals.
